About Me

A little about me and Bryan Bishop Weddings

BRYAN “BISHOP”

My name is Bryan but I’ve always just gone by “Bishop”. I’m a Multi-Award winning cinematographer and filmmaker based out of Orlando, Florida. I’m someone who specializes in taking your big day and turning it into a cinematic adventure designed to punch you in the tear machines and then make you feel all warm and happy inside afterwards. Besides operating independently I’m also the man behind the video camera for Captured By Elle Photo, one of Orlando’s TOP wedding photo/video teams.

For the past five years I’ve been directing music videos, narrative films and corporate commercial productions on top of capturing weddings - which allows me to film your wedding day with a completely unique eye and style. I’ve got a sarcastic sense of humor that allows me to help make every aspect of your day enjoyable, fun, and stressless. Every moment captured like a film scene without ever even feeling like the camera’s on you.

My goal is to let your day be yours - have each moment - then be able to watch it so many times afterwards that you know the words to the songs in your video and can hum the melodies back while waiting in line at the food store.

It’s going to be a beautiful day, and I truly hope that you’ll take me along for the ride!

- A LITTLE ABOUT ME -

I’ve always loved music! As a teenager and college student I played drums & guitar multiple bands - even got to do a short tour with some of my favorite artists! So when it came time to choose a career I felt like going to school for audio was a sure fit for me. SO, I did. And graduated valedictorian with a degree in audio engineering and started my career. Ironically in less than a few months out of college I was hired to run sound on a film set and that’s where it all shifted.

I became fascinated by film, and so a career change happened. I bought my first camera (It sucked), a lens (also sucked) and started learning how the whole thing worked. Fast forward five years and I’ve gotten the opportunity to direct and film over 30 music videos, 6 short films, 2 feature lengths, dozens of commercials and of course at this point over 150 weddings.

Weddings were always an integral part of my growth in film. I loved them. I get to be neverendingly creative with my cinematography, approach every moment of your day like a scene from a film and watch a real life love story play out before me!
